1-Nature: Visit the Posidonia in kayak
Excursion in kayak complete with snorkelling and the possibility of underwater photography.
Where: Ses Figueretes Beach, in front of the jetty where boats leave for Formentera.
When: 9.30 am to midday.
Who: Families and adults
Cost: Free

2.-Culture: ‘Posidonia, World Heritage’
Open air exhibition of photographs by Xavier Mas.
The exhibition features 20 images with explanatory texts in English and German and reflects the importance of the Posidonia, one of the world’s most diverse ecosystems for reasons of its life cycle, the variety of species that it houses and the threats posed to it by illegal moorings and the dumping of waste and plastics.
Where: Ibiza seafront promenade near Avinguda Santa Eulàlia, beside the jetty where boats leave for Formentera

3.- Art: Posidonia, a jewel

Enric Majoral
National Handicrafts Award winner in 2007, Majoral began his Posidonia collection in 2001 and since then it has become a central feature of his artistic universe. Under the title “La Posidonia es una joya” (Posidonia is a jewel), the Ibiza exhibition features large-scale one-off pieces, personal notebooks and sketches in addition to a number of designs in which he attempts to recreate the seabed. Majoral is an artist who is committed to his environment while possessing an international dimension, with two pieces from the series ‘Joies de sorra’ featuring in the permanent collection of the New York Museum of Art and Design.

Exhibition featuring the artistic process and evolution of the Posidonia collection.
Visitors will receive a complementary bookmark inspired by the Posidonia.

Elisa Pomar
Winner of the Ibiza Town Gold Medal, Elisa has incorporated the tradition and culture of the island into exclusive jewellery collections that have featured on international catwalks. In 2012 she created the ‘Posidonia’ collection, a tribute to this World Heritage site featuring pieces that recreate the beauty of the undersea world by incorporating elements such as green and blue agate. The combination of these stones with traditional Ibizan jewellery is one of the highlights of Elisa Pomar’s creative output, the success of which bears strong ties to the island landscape while looking steadily towards the future. The Posidonia collection and artistic development of Elisa Pomar can be observed in this spacious exhibition space.
