APRIL
-13 to 16 April: Easter Week
Place: City of Ibiza
The Holy Week processions are a spectacular addition to the World Heritage site of the old town and La Marina.

MAY
-From 11 to 14 May: Medieval Ibiza in the historic site of Dalt Vila
In these days, Dalt Vila transforms into a medieval market where you will find merchants, nobles, dancers and clowns.
It is the setting for a great festival with which the Council of Ibiza celebrates UNESCO’s declaration of four natural and cultural aspects of the island as part of our World Heritage. The declaration was made in December 1999.
It is a massive celebration that attracts thousands of people of all ages from all around.

-From 24 to 26 May: Ibiza International Music Summit
This event will bring together top level DJs and is considered one of the season’s most important festivals, and this year it is celebrating its 10th edition.
The concert that will close the IMS international summit will be held on the ramparts of Baluarte de Santa Llucia, in Dalt Vila, on the 26th May. This remarkable site was declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO.

JUNE
From 14 to 17 June: IBIZA GAY PRIDE 2017
The city of Ibiza is holding the Ibiza Gay Pride 2017 with the aim of affirming it as a festive celebration of the LGTB community.
The programme includes actions to raise awareness in favour of equality and non-discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation.

AUGUST
-“Fiestas de la Terra”: The Festival of the Patron of the City of Ibiza
The Patrons are celebrated in different parts of the city between 28 July and 8 August.
The city dresses up for the festival programme which has two parts: the first is based on the history and traditions of Ibiza while the second, which varies every year, includes big name performances and shows that attract large audiences.

SEPTEMBER
-From 6 to 9 September: Eivissa Jazz Festival in Dalt Vila
The prestigious Eivissa Jazz Festival will occupy the area around the ramparts of Baluarte de Santa Llucia and the Mercat Vell to present a programme of concerts showcasing the best local talent and new performers, as well as established bands from around the world.

–21 September: Tourism Day
As every year, this is the day when the city holds acts and events in honour of the tourists who visit the city.

OCTOBER
–7 and 8 October: XVII Ciudad d’Eivissa Folk Festival
This is a landmark event, which brings together traditional dances of Ibiza and from other parts of Spain.

-From 12 to 15 October: Ibiza Chess Festival
The VIII popular “Open International Ciudad de Eivissa” tournament is held in different parts of the city, including some of its most picturesque.
These tournaments are an opportunity for large numbers of chess aficionados to meet and compete.

The second edition of this festival was a great success with the public in 2016, transforming the most attractive places of our World Heritage sites and the Port of Ibiza with lights, videos and performances.

Place: Figueretas beach
