District Festivals

Dalt Vila, Can Escandell, Ses Figueretes, Platja d´en Bossa, Cas Serres and Sa Capelleta are districts of Eivissa that hold a special place in the city’s festival calendar.

On 29th June, Sant Pere is commemorated in Dalt Vila with a mess celebrated in the church of Santo Domingo. After the mass, a craft market is set up in Plaça de Sa Carrossa. There, among other things, one can try typical fare from Eivissa, not to mention the traditional folk dance that makes the evening more enjoyable. The festival of Can Escandell also takes place in June.

A month later, on the 10th, the district of Sa Capelleta celebrates the day of Sant Cristòfol. In August, it is Platja d´en Bossa’s and Ses Figueretes’ turn to celebrate. The district of Cas Serres rounds the celebrations off in September.
